Leadership

Marc Dalais is the Chairman of the Celero Group which he co-founded in 2009. Celero is a logistics and shipping services group operating in Mauritius and Madagascar. A native Mauritian, Marc started his career in Shipping in South Africa after having completed his university studies there. He subsequently worked in a leading international logistics group in Paris before joining a listed conglomerate in Mauritius, as General Manager of its Logistics, Shipping and Aviation division. Marc has also been active in various trade associations and boards, including the boards of a company pioneering freeport operations in Mauritius and the Mauritius Exporters Association.
He currently serves on the board of CIEL, a listed conglomerate active in 20 countries. Marc is also passionate about social justice and education. He is a founding trustee of the charitable trust which started Lighthouse Primary and Secondary School and The Good Shop, a new social enterprise. He is also an Enforcer of the MOL [Mitsui OSK lines] Charitable Trust set up in 2021 to support NGO’s active in social and environmental projects in Mauritius.

Patrice Maury is the Chief Executive Officer of the Celero Group which he co-founded in 2009 . Celero is a logistics and shipping agency group operating in Mauritius and Madagascar. A native Mauritian, Patrice started his career in a local conglomerate where he headed their Express Courier Division. He subsequently joined another listed conglomerate in Mauritius, where he headed a freight forwarding division. There he also launched the franchised operations of the leading International Express Courier company and headed their operations in Mauritius as well as the surrounding Indian Ocean islands. Patrice is an active member of various associations, including the Freight Forwarding Association , the Association of Shipping Agents, the Mauritius Export Association and is a fellow member of the Mauritius Institute of Directors .

Kris Emrith is the Chief Finance Officer of the Celero group which he joined in 2016 . He has acquired his professional education and training in London before returning to Mauritius to start his career in Auditing and business consultancy with Lamusse Sek Sum & co and KPMG. He moved into the FMCG sector at senior management level with the Dookun group of companies, listed on the Stock Exchange of Mauritius. After eleven years at this position, he moved into the health sector at senior management level at Fortis Clinique Darne before joining Celero Group.
Kris is a Fellow member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA) and holds a MBA from Oxford Brookes University (Oxford, England). He is also registered with the Mauritius Institute of Professional Accountants (MIPA) as a Professional Accountant and Public Accountant in Practice.

Kris brings with him over 20 years of senior management level experience as Head of Finance with exposure to IT, HR, procurement, operations and governance.
